Ichigo Kurosaki never asked for the ability to see ghosts—he was born
with the gift (or curse, depending on your viewpoint). When his family
was attacked by one of the malevolent spirits known as Hollows, the
powers of a Soul Reaper awakened within him and he became dedicated to
protecting the world of the living and helping all tortured spirits find
peace!
As the Soul Reaper Captains and their underlings take on Aizen and his
army of Hollows, Ichigo continues his battle with the fourth strongest
Arrancar, Ulquiorra Schiffer!
While the two of them clash violently, they are suddenly interrupted by
the return of Ulquiorra’s partner, the gigantic Yammy Llargo! His
attempts to turn the tide in Ulquiorra’s favor are thwarted, however, as
the Quincy Uryû Ishida appears to lend a hand against the massive
Arrancar!
And when they leave the white stronghold of Aizen’s base of operations,
Las Noches, to continue their fight under the black sky of Hueco Mundo,
Ulquiorra finally releases his sword to reveal his Resurrección! Will Ichigo’s own Hollowfied powers be enough against Ulquiorra’s immense power?
